GroundTruth is our “ground-truthing” app, designed to allow researchers to upload vital information about the catchment to our Geographic Information System, thus improving the accuracy of our maps.

Using satellite positioning, users of the app can pinpoint and upload observed biodiversity data – everything from outlet pipes to otter holts – from the catchment to the data sets in our geographic information system (GIS). By doing so, participants can ensure that the mapping data is up-to-date and accurate, and collaborate in building a reliable reference for the whole community.
